The first of two meals out today !!! A slight mix up with due to my bad memory saw me going to Allerton for a meal out instead of the coffee in Garstang as I thought . I was meeting a NZ lady who my son Anthony stayed with for a year when he first went to NZ when he was 22.We have become friends with the whole family & I stayed with her last year when I went over to NZ She comes here almost every year & us & the parents of the other chap Anthony went with always meet up with her. To cut a long story short we went to Manchester to meet up & have a meal even though I am going out with friends for another meal tonight !!! This is the carvery meal we had , the big round things on the left are Yorkshire Puddings that we have with roast beef. Like a pancake mix only savoury & you put gravy on them ! Sorry I'm miles behind with commenting owing to being out all day & evening too, will catch up over the week end ! The lady is not one of our party.
Looks delicious! Just enjoy I say............I've had far too many meals this week even if we have been dancing and singing at holiday club! And sharing food with friends is such a pleasure!
