This is Edie & Xavier from the USA who are here en route to Ireland with their daughter Debbie( not in picture). In 1993 when I started doing B&B they came for one night stay, Edie with her first husband who sadly died. We kept in touch over the years & in 2002 Edie returned together with her new husband to be Xavier & spent Christmas with us. They''eloped'' to Gretna Green & I was their Matron of Honour . This is their first visit since then ! We have been to the Lake District today & this is us in Hawkshead! I have taken quite a few photos but this is the best with them on. Unfortunately I have been up all night with a bladder infection so was not feeling my best to say the least !! Out for a meal tonight then very welcome bed !!! No commenting tonight so please forgive me , I will catch up tomorrow when they have gone !!
Wonderful photo and a marvelous story behind the subjects! Must have been great fun to get together again after almost ten years. So sorry that you are feeling so awful, Pat. Get some rest and take of yourself...hope you are feeling much better soon!
@sarah19@jmj@peggysirk Thank you so much for your good wishes ! I am never ill normally & it's just bad luck it was while they are here !! I have put a brave face on but it has been hard work. I have some antibiotics & cranberry juice !!! Just waiting to get every body gathered up for the meal !!
