I was so glad that yesterday was such a lovely sunny day, we saw the Lake District at it's best !! We had our lunch here & the visitors love our Bulmers cider so some of that was consumed too ! Hawkshead is a small village on the western side of Lake Windermere. We crossed on the small ferry at the south end of the lake, I have some photos but they aren't that good mostly cars & a distant bank. I missed quite a few opportunities yesterday as I just couldn't be bothered going out of my way feeling as I did ! Back to normal this morning ...thank you all !!! I will catch up comment on your photos later !! The visitors have gone to tour Ireland now.
