I was quite amazed to see how they moved money around in Ireland. We were just going up the high street in Dungloe & noticed this convoy of police car, 4 wheel drive & security van all accompanied by an armed guard ! There are two banks on the high street & they all went to the first then walked down the road to the other ! The guards stood with their guns at the ready on corners really on the alert ! This was the small hotel we stayed at. There was a guard on our side of the road & as he walked past me he said ' we put you in gaol here for taking photos too' & then winked !!
@phil_howcroft Oh dear that would be frustrating..when it's time to go home you just want to get back !! We had to get the early ferry due to rough seas so were the opposite to you !

@shutterbugger I think they worry about funding terrorist organisations Jennifer ! It is just a short one main street town so it was quite unnerving really
