It was hot & tables that were empty were hard to come by.
We perched on a couple of high stools near the sea, placed our order then dived for this free table when the previous diners left.
Lovely bruschetta with tasty toppings, a Hugo for me & Cathy & a lime soda for Lydia
I had never heard of a Hugo before but it’s elderflower & Prosecco with a mint leaf topping.
Very refreshing.
We are out with friends tonight. Every couple of months or so the village cafe hosts an evening dinner. We have been once before with Cathy & Garth so another tonight with friends.
Thank you for your comments when I’m absent.
Much appreciated.
I've never heard of a Hugo either, apart from the chap who was on Vicar of Dibley! Sounds tasty. So nice to see this warmth on a damp drizzly grey day down here when we have needed the lights on all day!
