Hi this is Jo, (Pat's daughter in law in New Zealand). I have hacked into her 365 project whilst she is away, she did say I could!
This is Pat's grandson Max's first pair of proper shoes. He is just over a year now and has just started walking. I tried to get him some Clarks but they are pretty hard to get over here, so these are called i walk and seem to be doing the trick. Its Fathers day here so we went out for breakfast in Hamilton with some friends and then had a walk down the river. It has been a lovely spring day here today.
Hope you are not missing Pat too much, she'll be back soon. Bye from me!
Hi Jo!! We are missing Pat but I'm sure she'd approve of Max's shoes - we have a couple of early pairs of shoes on our bookshelf - I wish I'd kept the first pair!
Hello Jo, nice of you to drop in. I think Max will do well inb these shoes. They look to have a great walking base for a good support. And here's hoping yo have a good day
Hi karenann, yes Max seems to like them. The first day he wore them he managed to pull one off & was sat there kissing it!
Thanks everyone for your comments, Pat will be pleased.
Ah, that's a cute story about Max kissing them, Jo. They look like they're made of soft leather but are still supportive and flexible with good 'quick fastening' velcro - can't you tell I have been reading up on children's shoes recently for uni!! I would love a recent photo of him wearing them... Must catch up with all the family in NZ very soon, its been ages xx
Oh such a special moment in both your lives - what a funky little pair of shoes. Lovely to meet you Jo - I feel like we know you from all Pat's posts. You have a gorgeous little boy. I'm in Australia - so we're not too far away. Thanks for updating us.xox
Hi, Jo! Love these tiny walkers! We've been keeping up with Max through Pat's posts...he is absolutely adorable! So glad that Skype is available for Pat to be able to stay close to him. Thanks for dropping in!
Thanks everyone for your comments, Pat will be pleased.
