Apologies everyone this is the only photo I have taken today !!! Busy changing beds & getting some shopping so no time to pick something more artistic !
I am excited tonight as my sister & brother in law are arriving to stay for two nights, we have a family wedding tomorrow so all the clan is gathering. Margaret & I haven't seen each other since last Christmas as she lives in Norfolk so it will be lovely to get together !
I popped into the garden centre food hall to get some strawberries but had to go through all the Christmassy stuff to get there !! Bit early yet don't you think !!!
I saw some decorations at the store yesterday and it put me in the gift buying mood! There's a couple stores that I know of that are all Christmas all the time! Have a great time with you're sister!
I have to say I long for the old days when the Xmas season started right after US Thanksgiving. Now. . .it's a bit much! Sounds like you have a great weekend in store - have a great time!
It's way too early if you ask me, but then my bottomline doesn't depend on Christmas sales...so I suppose it's somewhat understandable. I do know that by the time Christmas comes and goes I feel rather beat up by the holidays. :) Hope you have an perfectly wonderful weekend, Pat! Sounds like fun times!!
Lovely pic Pat but a bit scary. so much to do between now and the end of the year and that's without even thinking about christmas. I have a little choir at school, and we've started learning some Christmas songs, simply because I only have them once a week and before we know it, we will be asked to sing at the aged care facility near where we live. Eek! Great Christmas photo - even if it does seem unseasonal.
Absolutely! Pleased to see that the seasonal madness gets earlier and earlier in other countries, too. I have my birthday in late November and so I refuse to even think of Christmas until after that! The worst I have seen are Easter hot cross buns before New Year's in the local supermarket.
