Only two visitors left so a big wash & clean up today . Great fun at breakfast, seven for bacon & eggs, three dogs ( one 6 months old) one cat & one of the B&B's in hospital with stomach pains !! I must admit my heart gave a flip thinking it was something he might have eaten here !!! It was rather manic as the pup escaped out the door & wouldn't be caught so we were running & slipping on the wet lawn trying to catch her but alls well that ends well & they have arrived home !!
I hung the washing out on this lovely morning & up in the sky were all these aeroplanes on their way to distant shores ..... I did briefly think of the pleasure of lying on a hot beach !!!
Wood burner on tonight , just the two of us & Strictly Come Dancing ...back to normal !!!
What an action-packed and dramatic day! Hope you're putting your feet up now! Glad you had some blue sky - you could use this as an advert for Daz (or whatever!).
@jmj He He so I could !!! All the sheets dried well so all in basket ready for ironing tomorrow . Going to watch TV now with my feet up & some chocolate !!!
This is gorgeous Pat - great sky and colours and POV. It's all action at your place isn't it!! Bit of a nightmare with the hospital thrown in as well. You should have set Henry on that puppy... Enjoy Strictly & that well-deserved chocolate!
Wonderful Pat - I read your commentary with a big smile. You have a very positive spin on what was otherwise a really busy time for you guys. I particularly smiled about you slipping around on the lawn, chasing a cheeky runaway puppy! Glad life is a little more peaceful for you now. This was a perfect photo to portray your busy weekend.
I love this shot, Pat. Crisp, clean whites against that deep blue sky. It just says "fresh". Sounds like you've been a busy lady around the B&B! Enjoy your quiet time. :)
@judithg Henry wouldn't bother Judith as he thinks he is a dog as well as a cow !!! We have pictures of him as a lamb sitting next to our two dogs !!!!
great shot-I was surprised to see you live in england-the clothes line looks like a hills hoist with is very australian-does it wind up to go higher when you hang your washing and spin around in the wind???
@lynlong Hi Lyn you have a sharp eyesight & are perfectly right, it is from New Zealand where both our sons live. I was so impressed with their fantastic washing lines when we were over I ordered two & am very proud of them !! They do wind up & down & it's great to catch that little extra beeeze !! Thank you so much for your comments !
