Today I went with my ladies walking group for our monthly walk. We walked from Glasson Dock to Galgate & back , about 6 miles through lovely countryside & perfect weather. There were ten of us mostly from the area we used to farm in around Inglewhite which is ten miles away. It's good to keep in touch with all old neighbours & friends this way & get to know all the local news.
It was a great day for walking today, I really fancied going for a long walk but the untidy garden was calling me, so I did that instead, still at least it is tidied now ready for the winter weather.
What a lovely view it does look like it goes on for miles.
Oooh - I know a little dog who would love that!! Fabulious composition here and it all looks very lush. I'm hoping I can see your other one - it looks blank - I'm having real problems at the mo - I don't know if it's just me?!
Ooooh how I envy you ladies off out striding along on your walk. I am getting impatient with my knees! any way its lovely to see you all thank you for sharing.
@snowy Yes must be frustrating for you Diana but you will be able to go for a long walk next year !!! As long as the pain is better...one step at a time !!
What a beautiful scene. I have a walking group. We've been walking together for about 23 years. Although most have moved away, they come back to town as often as possible to walk. It's a great way to socialize and exercise at the same time, isn't it?
