I'm afraid I am going to cheat for the next couple of days & post a couple of photos my daughter in law sent me from NZ . Short of ideas myself & I just love these pictures so hope you will forgive me !!!
Taken in the last 2 weeks at a donkey derby near where they live in North Island this is our little grandson Max who is now 15 months
old. Isn't he a sweetie & a budding horse rider I think !! Daddy is holding on to make sure he doesn't fall off !
Summer time in New Zealand of course ! Jo has not set the date on her camera I can see !!
Oh - it looks so warm and cheerful!! Max is really looking grown up here and very at home indeed on that donkey!! I have no ideas at all now until December when I'm allowing myself to start on Christmas! I had to take Monty to the vet this morning with an infected foot (I expect it's a grass-seed but we're trying just antibiotics first - only £82 down so far :0( ) so he's only allowed short 'pavement' walks while it's dry - that's going to hamper my photo walks quite a bit!
@judithg Oh that will stop the long walks for now...poor Monty hope he improves soon for your pockets sake !! Harry has to take the cockerel to the vets his eye is really bad & all swollen up still & he has definatly lost his sight in that eye !! Hey ho we will have to keep earning the money to pay these vet bills !!
@happypat Poor cockerel! Monty has conjunctivitis as well - the dogs are going down with it all over Cambridge for some reason. He was SO happy after he took the painkillers that it was worth the money. And he's stopped licking his foot so he doesn't need the big cone thing yet - though if I get desperate for a photo....!
Oh what a sweet little man - and such a gorgeous photo. I have to cheat sometimes when I post photos of Mia - because she lives in Darwin - which is a 5 hour flight and a 3 hour car trip away. Just gorgeous.
What part of new Z are they, I'm guessing the south by the coats. Its been 36deg C here and summer is'nt until next week officially. You are forgive as I hope i was too. Great to see your family.
@lornavale They live in North Island Barbara & have been having lovely weather must have been an off day !! If you look at Anthony's legs you can see his tide mark of tan where his socks have been !!!!
