Posting early today as I am meeting friends this afternoon for coffee & cakes & swapping pressies !!
Harry & I were so glad to be sitting by the fire last night after our gadding about last week ! We caught up with TV programmes we had recorded, read the papers & might have had a little snooze too !!!
Lily was pleased to sit with us !

as for Cooper the bird, she was definitely with her owner and she only had eyes for him to be sure! She stepped away from him for a few scant moments and I shot away!

This is Christmas card stuff Pat - what a cozy, wintery, Christmas scene. Glad you've had a catch up - it is nice after a busy week. This week has been crazy for me too - and doesn't look like letting up till after Christmas. Like you, it's all good fun though and I wouldn't have it any other way.

@murnane Yes I do love this time of year, you mustn't let it get too much & go mad with every thing & the simpler the better I think !! The shops are only shut one day !!!
@judithg Well half & half really Judith, I bought the piece of long greenery & then attached baubles & bits & pieces, then wound lights round the whole lot. We take it down in one piece, put it in the attic & hope it all works again next time !!
