I have had a conducted tour today of the Podiatry department at Salford University. Cathy had to hand in her last assignment so I went with her. It was all very interesting & after hearing all about the place for 4 years it was interesting to see all the different areas. This is the room where all the bone & skeleton parts of the leg & foot are taught.
There were treatment rooms, lecture rooms, rooms & equipment to study gait, much more to the subject than you would ever imagine!
Only until May & hopefully all the toing & froing up & down the M61 will be over !
Hope this photo goes down a bit better than yesterdays ...Lydia thought she looked enormous, at least a size 12 when she is only an 8 !!! The worries of the young !!!
Good for her. Feet are so important! It's only when you know someone who has problems with their feet that you realise how fortunate you are to be able to walk/run/dance etc.
Oh I wish her every success, I'm sure there will be plenty of work for her when she qualifies. This photo helps explain your other one, but I think it was good you kept us wondering, adds to the fun!
Lots of work went into getting that diploma! Indeed it would be a long and difficult study of bones. Very complex. Good for her. Great photo . . and now I know where the following photo came from. :) Plus, Lydia absolutely did NOT look large in the previous photo. Tell her that she looked beautiful and very petite!
nice one Pat, I won't tell you about the drama my daughter had completing her assignment for her MA !!! This is a great photo showing your Cathy in her Uni.......hey I told you grandma might be in trouble for posting Lydia's pic :) !!!
@phil_howcroft And you were dead right Phil !!! No make up on & pale & tired & she looked fat !! I ask you ! Sounds a bit of a story about your daughter , do tell !
It looks very inviting for a bone place. Is it a honey trap I ask myself and did you manage to leave the building with the same number of bones you came in with, pat?!
ah, a size 12 instead of a size 8! If only, if only........tee hee. Tell Lydia she looks a right glamorous young lady and that dress is a knockout. What a nice feeling to be nearing the completion of the course. Such long hours and so much to learn. I'm behind with my commenting too Pat - holiday time - lots of visitors, lots of trips to coffee shops etc. ah - too busy having fun, to be in front of the computer. I'll catch up too, but maybe not for a few days more yet.
Well done Cathy, bet there isn't much left to know about feet after 4 years. Always interesting to see a place after hearing of it for so long and having a picture in your head of what it is like.
