I have nothing else to offer in the way of a picture today except this miserable offering ! As you can see I have been on this course from 1.30pm until 6pm this afternoon so the day has gone nowhere !
There were 44 of us there this afternoon & a similar amount this morning so there are a lot of speeders about !!! I have learnt how to work out, more or less, the different ways of telling what the different speed limits on roads are likely to be so well worth it!
Steve said at the end ''if anyone wants to take my photo in front of the board feel free'' ! I thought ..great & got my camera out straight away but then he had to go & ask permission , saying nobody had ever taken him up on his offer before !!!

Allan has recently got a 'new to him' car which has a speed limiter on it! He has shown me how to work that but 'not the cruise control' which I enjoy teasing him about!

I'm literally chuckling out loud here!! That's hilarious that he says that nd nobody does!! Most people probably want to throw eggs at him! Just be grateful you don't have to give the talk twice a day - I wonder what he did to deserve that job... He didn't just suggest that you get one of those speed camera alert things do your car then?!
@judithg It was very relaxed actually Judith & I did quite enjoy it in the end, just a long day because I had to set off in very good time, if you were late they discounted you. We talked about the reason for speeding, lateness, concentration etc & he asked me & I was brave & said those things but that I quite liked driving fast , he just laughed !!
This is funny and reminded me that I got a speeding ticket in the mail yesterday. The traffic camera got me! Not the first time this happens to me on the same stretch of road where speed the limit is 25mph (!!!???). I tell you, if you got out of the car and pushed it you'd be going above the speed limit.
reat photo documentation of your day, Pat! Was this for a first time offense or do you have to be a chronic speeder before you're sentenced to this class? :) I have a rather heavy foot myself. Fortunately I've only been ticketed once in recent history...but it caused our insurance rate to go up a bit. I just saw the comment about 20 mph in your town!!! Good grief, you could go faster on foot. :)
@peggysirk My first offence Peggy but only by luck as I do drive fast but I do always drive to the conditions I think !! I got caught on a road in Cumbria I didn't know...that's my excuse anyway !!
@phil_howcroft He He he was a bit OTT isn't he but a really nice guy & up for a laugh ! At least I could hear what he said, there was a woman on with him & she was a mumbler & I think I might have got only half what she was saying !

that is totally hilarious!!! Steve is a riot. My son has to go tomorrow. Be there at 7:45 am and stay till 4:00. He's not happy. I don't care. I told him don't do the crime if you can't do the time. HaHa. But he's only 16. If that's your first, you're golden!
Well, the teacher was sure dressed up for the photo! So glad that you took him up on it! Famous last words, but I've never gotten a speeding ticket. Not that I didn't deserve one . . just never got caught. Hubby has had several and oh the insurance rates go up! Great photo:)
Gosh Pat, they take speeding seriously over there. We get fined here - but I've not heard of speeding classes! What a long day - and what a shock that man must have got when you took his photo. ha ha
I took the points and sixty quid fine during the summer for i am sure i would have made a fool of myself by ranting that speeding camera's are pocket money toys for those who control us....
His mom obviously told him to stand up straight and to keep his tie perfectly aligned at all times. No doubt it was probably quite an interesting course, but it does sound quite boring too. That is unless he managed to speed it up towards the coffee break!
