Barnacre Cottages

I love these 18th century cottages on the High street in Garstang. They were looking particularly fine in their winter glory today.
I took a photo of these cottages in May last year with the Spring foliage at it's newest & best but they always look good what ever the season.
I love the pop of red on the bush . I also love the the little bit of blue on the cottage .

I want to live in something like that! And yes, they look wonderful any time of the year . . doesn't matter. They have character and beauty where none exists in the new houses of today. GORGEOUS photo.

I am completely in awe of the history of your country Pat. This is exquisite. Maybe one day I'll get over there and you can show me in person! Just gorgeous. A fave.
