Making a dash !

The start of the rush to get off the Holy Island before the tide turns & cuts us off !
After our walk we did a quick drive up to the village just to have a quick look but saw everyone getting in their cars to come back over the causeway before the tide came in.
We never stopped just turned round & set off at the front of the queue !!! Some people had been trapped the day before & had to be rescued by lifeboat !

It's not exactly relaxing being on Holy Island, i remember constantly watching the time to make sure we got back on time! Great capture to sum up that 'must dash' feeling!

@maggiemae We called at a coffee barn just on the dry land side & watched & within about 15 minutes of the time we were supposed to be off the tide was lapping over the road.
