A flower today & I love these Alliums we saw at the garden center. I didn't notice the bee until I uploaded the photo!
This was a very hit & miss photo....I just pointed & took it so was quite pleased with the result.
I have a summer cold at the moment... it must be at least two years since I had one last so can't grumble but I feel heavy headed !
These flowers are so beautiful. I have a few in the garden and photographed some in Cambridge the other day. I feel like you - that I probably won't post every day in my second year as it's quite a commitment, and with an allotment I struggle to find the time some days. I've thorough;y enjoyed the first year though and hope to carry on - if intermittently.
Gorgeous! I think hit and miss photos are great. Sometimes I don't even look at what I am taking! If I think it's a nice place to be I just click with my arm at my side! Mind you I only have a very little simple camera......when I graduate to something that involves more thought....I'm not sure how I'll cope!!!
@busylady Thank you Judith ! I haven't felt any pressure to upload everyday but amazingly when you love doing something you get in a routine & I haven't missed many days !! I will check out your photos later !!!
@sarah19 Mine is only a P&S & I just whip it out of my bag when I feel like a photo is possible...the least obviously the best !! I don't like to be obvious !!!!
@shepardx2 Thank you Margo, the worst thing is I am in a bad habit waking up about 1.30am, coming downstairs for a cup of tea , reading until 3.40 exactly & then going back to bed. Not a good routine !
Have always wondered what they were called...nor can i recall them in my youth..i think it was all snap dragons in those days..but indeed they are nice and is not this weather up north incredible..yippie...
@happypat that's not going to help you get better.. rest, rest and more rest.. take the sleepy cold medicine so you can sleep at night.. I don't want to have to worry about you all the way from here....
@shepardx2 Ah Margo you are a kind person, thank you so much for your concern. I have rubbed my chest with Vicks tonight & am having a little shot of whiskey & lemonade so we will see how I do tonight !!!! I think ..touch wood I feel a little perkier tonight !!!
@happypat Great shot. I think you are on the right road, Vicks on your chest and a bit of whiskey and lemonade in your stomach ought to be just the ticket.
