Waiting for harvest. by happypat

Waiting for harvest.

Three trailers lined up just waiting for the fine weather so our neighbours can finish getting their harvest. It has rained a bit today but much more settled tonight.

Three good things:
1.I have had my new tyres fitted so am now legal!
2. Have finished my little stint feeding calves although Harry is still on duty....I have quite enjoyed being back in the farm yard!
3. My neck is much better & managed to back the car in the garage with out too much pain.
Ready and waiting and bogged down in the mud!

@judithg @fannyb Thank you both. My neck has been so bad it has kept me awake at night but I can move to the right & left a little now. I tried too hard in Callanetics so am going to take my mat tomorrow & skive at the back!

@jgpittenger Yes every where is very boggy, I think they have about ten acres left so not too bad. Some farmers here have eaten up nearly all their winter feed already as the cows have been in all summer but still not got their second crop in! A really bad situation!

Good to hear about the neck! Doesn't look there is much to harvest? Is it all below ground?

Wow...that is a wet looking field. What is to be harvested when the conditions improve? Love this glimpse of life on the farm.
So glad that your neck is starting to feel better, Pat...despite the hard work you put in on your neighbor's farm! :)

Pat, I certainly hope you weren't laying down in the muck for this shot! I know you are dedicated...
