Our hens are laying very poorly at the moment & as I am going through quite a few every morning I had to go out & buy some today.
A couple of them are molting & one or two of the others are coughing for some reason ....Harry is on the case.
This is the little veg shop in our village which sells eggs & fruit etc.
I tried to get the girl in the shop to pose but she was having none of it! Very interested in 365 though!
This little shop used to sell Cath Kidston stuff & all the yummy mummies used to go in, me too some times & I am hardly a yummy mummy!!!!
Stupid title but couldn't think of another!!!!
Three good things:
1. The sun warm on my back hanging out the washing.
2. Good news on the job front for someone close!
3. A change of guests tonight so some new chat!
I always love to read your three good things, and you make me think of which three things I would say. I admire that good habit. Hope your hens start producing again soon...
What a lovely looking shop. It is heartening to see that these sorts of places are still able to survive in today's monstrous supermarket environment. A friend of mine has just opened a new fruit and veg shop in our village, and I hope she thrives.
I aslo commented on this one....must be going dolally....glad you have lovely people I have no ONE at all until Saturday night!! Utter bliss, don't tell Sean ,he gets worried when we are happy having no one!!
Very cute shop. Hope nothing serious afflicting your hens. I think running a B&B and meeting people all the time must be very interesting and fun (except when it's not, haha! right?).
@meisen325 They look well in them selves just sniffling about a bit...they perhaps need the flu jab!! Yes I do enjoy it mostly & you meet some fabulous people plus the not so fa but not many of them thank goodness. I must tell you the story of the Americans from Carmel one day!
It looks like a very good 'health shop' I think new laid eggs are one of the best things to eat. Hope the chickens recover soon. Enjoy your new guests.
@maggiemae Oh yes Maggiemae & I do like my pocket money!!!! While we are here we might as well carry on with the B&B & 75% of them are repeat bookings. Am very easy about taking time off though!!
I love to read your comments, Pat ... always "food for thought!" Speaking of, I love the little veggie stand! Nothing like fresh ones and wonderful collage. Your little village is so picturesque ... love it!
What a charming little market. I love shops like that! Sounds like you've been booked solid with B&B guests lately, Pat. You're a popular place...and I'm not at all surprised!
