Creosoting the fence. by happypat

Creosoting the fence.

Harry is sprucing up the fences whilst it's fine & dry.

Three good things:
1. The lovely smell of creosote, I love it!
2. The lovely smell of Clarins Eau Tranquility which I use everyday. ( the blue one)
3.Ian the plumber has been & fixed the last leak, safe before the winter sets in.
Well done Harry ! Nice capture. I love the smell of creosote too.

I like the creosote smell too. I never got around to painting my garden table this year so would still like to do that before the winter sets in.

Fab photo! Another one of those -' we wouldn't have taken like that before 365' shots! Looks like he has a lot to get through. I think I'd prefer the Clarins to the creosote!

What a great subject! I love seeing someone else work. I don't know as I have ever smelled creosote...but I probably do as I like gasoline, puppy breath, and skunk.

This is fantastic for so many reasons-- the DOF, the POV, the color! Nicely composed!

Who would have thought that one day you would take a photo of this!! But it is a brilliant shot, the perspective and the dof........I thought we couldn't buy creosote any more, I used to use it for moles!!

@fannyb Moles! I have never heard of that before Fanny. Did you pour it down the holes?
October 23rd, 2012
Gosh, I hope you guys were wearing face masks so you weren't breathing in the fumes of this stuff. It has been banned where I live, they don't sell it at the hardware stores anymore.

haha, Harry smells of creosote, and you smell of Clarins. Funny, I thought Fanny meant the birthmark type of mole!!
