Alder catkins.

Harry's favourite tree is looking very pretty today, just covered with Spring catkins,
A sunny but cold day with flurries of snow.
I have been to Bookers buying washing powder etc then on to Dunelm Mill for two single mattress toppers....only had one so I will buy the other online.

Three good things:
1. Talked to little Max & Brian this morning so all up to date with the news in NZ.
2. The decorator has finished the bedroom!
3. We have been invited out for supper tonight at the neighbouring farm...always a good meal!

@fannyb It looks very nice Fanny & he was very exacting & fussy & took great pride in his work which is always a good sign! Will take a photo when all done...carpet in tomorrow. he is doing the bathroom today then we can get back to normal. My B&B is having to negotiate sheets on the stairs etc!
