Over the garden wall. by happypat

Over the garden wall.

The top picture shows some of our old farm buildings now redundant & passed for houses for new owners Geoff & Brian.
You can see our unfinished wall to the left which we were unable to finish owing to the fact that there was a roof covering the building they are working in this morning.
Any time now we will be able to build our wall up to match the rest.
Geoff & Brian bought some ewes with lambs in Skipton Market this week so this morning they were trimming the lambs feet & checking the weight.

I offered them a mug of tea....they are both grand guys & good neighbours, they said no but I could go & help if I wanted...I declined!!!

Three good things:
1. Off to Cathy's house for tea now.
2. Lovely B&Bers in last couple of nights, one was a Rheumatologist who inspected Harry's sore knee, told him he had fluid on it & he has to rest it...no more walking for the papers for a few days!!!
3. Harry is washing my car ..a pigeon egg has fallen out of the nest all over my car bonnet!!
Your shots and comments are always so interesting Pat. This is a great collage with plenty to see and absorb. Lambs are so cute and get put in such undignified positions!!!

3 comments on this photo.

1. They've obviously had your tea before.
2. Don't use your b&bers as your own personal NHS.
3. If Harry's supposed to rest his knee don't let him wash your car.

Great montage of pictures depicting sheep chiropody.

This looks a very old livestock yard and huge brick walls! You have to have a good back to do this sort of work!

You've done it now Pat - @fueast will be over sticking her camera over your wall at those lovely lambkins. I didn't know they sold sheep & lambs together - I'm going to ask Nigel if I can have some ;0) My friend is a lovely rheumatologist (in Newcastle these days) - very handy when you need a bit of joint advice! Your bricks are gorgeous....

What a great collage, Pat. Love the story, too. Really great textures here - on the buildings, the animals, the ground. Love it.
