My son in law & friend getting the boat ready for the summer, Garth is on the left.
They have a single boat & a double crew one so that if they both can't go up to the Lakes to sail the other can use the single crew boat.
Both boats are moored on Lake Coniston.
Completely the wrong sailing terms I would think ....sorry for anyone who knows different!!
This is a filler I'm afraid....I have been out today but forgot my camera & my little P&S I always had in my bag is broken.
Three good things:
1. A good hair cut.
2. I am not hungry after counting points all day!!!
3. Immersion heaters after Harry left the hot tap running & went outside!!!
Oh if we were in shouting distance of Coniston I'd have a boat. Probably one with oars though! I was going to ask how you got on at WW - I want to lose half a stone but a friend told me that if you don't want to lose much you're allowed to eat about two crackers a day...I could start by giving up the choccy biscuits though....
@judithg I'm on 26 points per day & up yo now have found it OK. To be truthful I haven't found my diet today much different to normal but no chocolate tonight & it's early days yet. Must admit the thought of the weighing next week does spur you on....no backsliding!!! I think once you get into the mode it's such a relief not to feel guilty about eating too much it's almost pleasurable if you know what I mean!!
I'm now in the position of envying you with your upcoming summer! Boating in this part of the land must be so beautiful! Its 2 degC outside at the moment here and we have the heater going!
Marvelous shot of the boat prep. Do you go sailing, Pat? Good work with your point counting. I've never done Weight Watchers, but I know lots of people that have had lots of success with it.
@happypat oh that's not bad - worth 3 points!! I do know what you mean - I lost a stone & a half three years ago & once I got into the swing it was easy - I need to find my willpower again just for a few days & then I'll be right....
