I didn't intend to post this photo as I have lots to choose from but as my project is diary based I wanted to record an account of what I did on the 18th May 2013.
This is @parkle in the front, @judithg following on & me in the rear in Brick Lane at the beginning of our 365 meet up.
We had a fabulous day, lots of chatting, took loads of photos, such interesting places & beats fields & flowers hands down for me ........I have a bit of city life in my heart really, I think it's reaction from having lived in the middle of a field for years!!!
We had lunch at Verdis & then @sparkle & I consumed a large do-nut filled with custard, @judithg & @sparkle bought bagels & we had a Pimms on the banks of the Thames!!
I think everyone will be queueing to join us next time!!!! LOL !
Lots of photos some of which you will see from all of us over the coming days I expect.
Three good things:
1. Friendship.
2. Virgin Trains.
3. The promise of more to come.
great diary shot Pat, you thought I ate a lot yesterday...you should see today's consumption list!! I could just do with another one of those doughnuts!!
@sparkle I've been working my way steadily through the one I bought for Adam - and I haven't run anywhere! Fab day - must ditch that pink bag - it's so - pink!
Sounds like a good day out for you all. I know what you mean about enjoying the city. I'm a city kid but now live (well 50% of the time) in rural surroundings. I feel I need the buzz every now and again.
@sparkle@happypat@judithg What a wonderful day you must have had. Since I don't see pictures of the donuts, they must be the no-calorie version. You probably walked it all off anyway!!!
Very nice candid shot and a wonderful story. Can't wait to see more photos. It sounds like a fabulous day out, shared with friends with similar interests. What is *Verdis* in addition to being my family name?
@boxplayer Wouldn't mind at all for a bit Isla!! My ultimate wish would be to spend about a month on my own in London, going to all the galleries, exhibitions & museums I could fit in & have areal explore round the whole city...not very likely to happen though!!

Ahhh, so here is the meet up!!! I know you all had such a wonderful time together!!! Would have loved to have been #4 in your group!! @judithg Judith's backpack seems to be bulging...was she toting the Pimm's?
@peggysirk Hahaa - if only it had anything so exciting - it had a raincoat and scarf stuffed in the bottom so I could cushion the camera. I've thrown that backpack out - it was fraying inside and kept jamming the zip and anyway I realised how pink it was!! You have to come next time Peggy - it would be in the youth speak of today 'totes amazing'!
