I picked my lights up this afternoon & then went to the glass studio near us & picked the shades.
The photo is taken in the British Lighting Co. warehouse. The man showed me the copies they were making of some of the original chandeliers for the Adelphi Theatre in London.
Pretty boring photo today but my imagination is at nil this week!!
Three good things:
1. Lydia here unexpectedly for her tea.
2. Harry has had his knee injected..not much improvement yet but we live in hope!!
3. Andy Murray through to the next round.
A nice shiny selection of nuts and bolts. I hope Harry gets some relief from the injection , I had one in my knee but after 2 weeks it was the same as before ( that was before I had the replacement)
John wanted to have the injection in his shoulder as he had had before with success but the Dr told him as he now had osteoarthritis, it wouldn't make any difference! Good lights make a big difference to a room - very exciting!
@maggiemae I agree about lights & I like lots of lamps etc to give atmosphere. Harry has had a quick walk tonight & says his knee feels bit better although his leg is stiff as the muscles are tight from limping. Disappointing about John....I know cortisone is only a temporary fix sometimes but better than the tablets!
Do you think Mr Nuts & Bolts Man gets his new knees from here?
My hubby is having the shots in his right knee for now, may have to do some surgery this fall on it. The doctor said it was arthritis, but he can go in and shave it down or something. He already did something like that to his left knee and it has gotten much better.
@grannysue Lets hope it doesn't come to that Linda, Harry has had no painkillers in the night so hoping all good! Hope your hubby gets some relief soon & improves both knees!
Very intersting, this is the first time I see such a place. Its great to know that there is still some of the places left were you see craftmanship and thee making off- not made in whereeverplacefareast.
This is not a boring shot. As a matter of fact, it has a lot of great shapes and interesting lines with just enough shelving broken to break the monotony.
Love it.
