A complete rubbish day today! Great Eccleston agriculture show today & as my long term followers know my friend & I were chief stewards in the horticulture marquee. This year were had retired but helping the new lady get settled in...complete chaos this morning none of them knew what to do & her back up family were non existent or useless, the tent was boiling as we had to have the doors shut while judging.
The first time in 12 years I have come away with a headache!!
I took my camera but left the card in the computer so a horrid day all round!!
So sorry will not have time to comment tonight & possibly tomorrow night too!
Will do better tomorrow...here is a filler.
Three good things:
1. Thousands going through the turnstiles so money in the coffers.
2. Tomorrow is another day!
3. We have friends staying tonight on their way up to Northumberland...BBQ for supper when they arrive! The goat judge & a passing stray man in for B&B too.
Oh no!! And it should have been your relaxing year. I bet she was very grateful for your experience and that you are reliable and lovely. And a lovely, out of character to flower shot. Shame you don't have a goat to enter....
fav great photo Pat sorry about your memory card I had a similar Afternoon went to Heathrow Airport to take some fresh Aircraft photos when i arrived they had completely changed run ways I use a zoom lens 70x300mil but it was not powerful enough so i came back home off to the Beach tomorrow to Felpham and Bognor
Sorry to hear about your rubbish day ! Things feel ten times worse in the heat !! And to go to a show without your memory card (camera!!) is very annoying !!

@jewelsandbinoculars Ha ha , you are funny...the tent looked c------ i thought & not a patch on ours but mustn't interfere,,,she'll learn & i must admit it's not easy. Would have thought she would have taken more advice from us but there you go!!
