Loved the sight today of some of the elderly residents of this elegant house sitting in the sun & generally enjoying our glorious summer weather. Some were in wheel chairs & some with sticks but you could tell they were enjoying themselves.
Harrys father used to be a trustee for Bushels House & also the church next to it for years so was a big part of his youth.
Anyone living here takes their own furniture & the rooms are very large & well proportioned.
Rather a nice place to end your days I think if you are unable to stay in your own home.
Three good things:
1. No more funerals in the diary!
2. Meeting up with nephews I hadn't seen for ages & didn't recognise!!
3. The show ground is looking busy & DRY!
Looks rather elegant - my 'mystery correspondent' said recently how sad he was that when his wife was dying last year the weather was rubbish and she couldn't get out - I agree - when you have old bones you need sun on them.

They all looked very content I must say, a small village with a shop round the corner where some of them can potter so a happy place...thank you for your comments!!
