A wonderful day yesterday as 15 365 friends met for the London meet up. @judithg, @sparkle, @boxplayer & @dp kindly met me at Euston station & we went for coffee & cake before catching the tube to Somerset House.
I was bowled over to find it was London Fashion Week & the place was buzzing with models & photographers,,,never been so relaxed with a camera in my hand, you would have felt out of place without one!
Met up with the others & took lots of shots before following those familiar with the city to some great photo ops along the way. @padlock did a great job organising this meet up & I do hope we have another in the future...I think I may have to buy a rail card at this rate!
Three good things:
1. Loved meeting & getting on so well with like minded people.
2. Laughing.
3. The exciting city of London, I never get tired of it!
This is a somewhat bare building but makes a good photo! What is a boric bike? I must investigate! Glad you enjoyed your busy day? Did you all agree on what to see?
@maggiemae Oh yes maggiemae...we didn't agree anything just went to the places that followed on & where the people familiar with London thought best. The whole of London is a photo op so even walking down the Strand to the next place was interesting. I just followed everyone else ...Tate Modern, St Pauls, Embankment, London Bridge & Tower Bridge...just lots to see.
@maggiemae A Boris bike is a scheme brought in by Boris Johnson the Mayor of London where bikes are available for hire in racks at different sites on the street. You hire one then go where you want & when finished slot it into one of the various racks. They have them in lots of towns & cities now.

This is a wonderful shot, I love all the lines, bikes, people, buildings and bridge, and it looks amazing in B&W, clever you for seeing the possibilities I just don't see it when I walk around London.....must try harder!
