The winged seeds of the Sycamore trees are almost ready for flying...little 'helicopters' waiting for take off.
Please excuse my lack of commenting last night...all this going out isn't good for keeping up!!
Three good things:
1. A day with no inspiration for photos by chance produced a photo I really liked.
2. A bad tummy ache in the night seems to have improved....I had mushrooms last night, not sure whether they agreed with me.
3. Caught up with some recorded programmes on the TV this afternoon ....too nice a day to be inside but felt fragile.
4. Out tonight again at a hoe down & hog roast for all the helpers from the agriculture show. I think I am flagging!!!
Hopefully bought mushrooms and not freshly picked?? Love this shot, amazing how sometimes when we limit ourselves to home territory, a photo opportunity comes to us easily and on our doorstep! Hope you make it tonight,
@lucypics It was a Portobello mushroom as a starter in a posh restaurant so presume it was OK...I was the only one who chose that & everyone else is OK...probably just me!! Thanks Lucy.
What a wonderful seasonal shot! We don't have those trees here - but I do remember them from my childhood. They are fun to have around!
Seems like September is a busy month for everyone - hence the lull in commenting! I also hope to catch up soon!
Love your 3 good things that have morphed into 4 today!
Goodness you are as social as my 17 yr old, he is always out! hope you have a lovely evening, have a day off tomorrow and put your feet up, lovely pic btw.
I'm glad you got a shot of the sicamore seeds, lets just hope you are not sickamore! What a social life you lead, Pat however, it makes you so pleased to be at home!
I've never seen them like this! Brilliant - I used to love chucking handfuls up in the air - still do actually. Rachel gets tummy ache after mushrooms sometimes - I'd have chosen Portabello as well though - very tasty. Early night time maybe?!
Such a sweet shot of these little helicopters. I just love this composition! I'm hoping since you went visiting the Lake District today that you are feeling better. Take care of your dear self, Pat...and get some rest!
Super shot - they all seem to be lined up!
Love mushrooms, sometimes they really don't agree with me, I wish I could suss out which do and which don't. Hope it didn't last long :)

A lovely unusual shot. They seem to be hanging out to dry!
