The Guardian Angel by happypat

The Guardian Angel

I went to put flowers on my dad & mums grave before I go away.
Along this low stone wall there are a row of children's grave stones.
All around them are these beautiful little snowdrops & watching over them is this beautiful Guardian Angel.

In the background you can hear the happy voices of the primary school children playing in the yard.

A special place.

Three good things:
1. Quiet places.
2. Faith.
3. Optimism.
Oh lovely - I feel quite emotional now.

@judithg Yes it was a bit Judith....I think the voices were very evocative in the context of theses small graves.

@happypat So important to have somewhere nice for families to visit - I like to hear children playing - maybe sometimes it makes it harder for bereaved parents though.

The snowdrops are lovely against the texture of the wall. So hard for a parent to bury a child.

I love the snowdrops. I always remember my grandmother's front garden had a line a snowdrops under the window, so I always think of them fondly.
