A frosty start this morning as I put the washing out....some of the hens had found a sheltered spot behind the tree to huddle together for warmth.
Three good things:
1. A sunny day at last.
2. Harry & I watched Tui go for a walk down the lane scareingly near the main road but no she had sense & turned back for home...we were just about to open the window & shout.
3. I found an old purse used for travel with over £10 inside.
Oh I better hadn't let my hens see this - they are urbanites but I suspect they would love your rural idyll! Phew on the Tui front - glad she saw sense - worse than a cat for wandering!
A need to cuddle up - lovely colour in the hens. I often find money in my coat pockets! I put the washing out in the sun and about 5 mins later it was raining - hope you did better.
Lovely clear focus on the hens- such a social bird! You are so lucky your property doesn't open out straight on to a main road! £10! Will that be enough for a cup of coffee at the airport?
You're probably already on the plane now but no doubt you'll get this eventually. Yes we did have to phone ahead to get him to open up his gallery, actually the girl in the hotel did, she said she lived near him and knew they were at home. He was a charming man and quite happy to talk about his cameras. He had one custom made!
@busylady No not on the plane until 12th I fly at 9.10am Thursday your time so a day or so to go yet. You will be getting near the end of your holiday now....one to remember!!
Those lovely ladies know a warm, sunny spot when they see one. That $16.00 will buy you a cup of coffee and a muffin along the way to NZ. :) Have a simply wonderful time!!!
@lucypics Finders Keepers Lucy!! If it was in your house I mean...sounded bad that !!
Mine are just going through the tumble dryer!
