We had a beach house right on the shore, all we had to do was walk down the garden & onto the beach.
Maz & I built an awesome sand castle on this beach...might show it you some time!
Three good things:
1. Jack has just been for a visit.
2. Lydia came last night for a chat.
3. I have been out & re stocked the fridge....funny how the less you go out the more you want to stay at home!!
Fav for me - that's what I call an idyllic childhood - and indeed grandparenthood! I think it's the jetlag that keeps you in - takes a while to feel right again.
Beach house sounds idyllic and learning about sandcastles is so important! Laziness is like this, Pat - the lazier you are the lazier you get - might apply to crazy too!
So sweet, what a life hey? I need to restock with food, I am getting complaints about lack of biscuits etc but just can't face Sainsburys for some days yet.
I could close my eyes and this is my Sam all those years ago, he had a hat just like this! Wonderful. A Fav for me, for the rekindled memories that have made me smile broadly.
Apologies to all at lack of comments....I fell asleep in front of the fire!!
