Mowing has started in earnest for Harry....he spends many an hour on his ride on mower, we have quite a lot of grass to mow but he loves it.
This is our front garden which thankfully is surrounded by shrubs & trees so doesn't need much attention to look decent.
I did think this morning I should make an effort to tidy up the paths but when I went out Harry was already sweeping up....I beetled back inside quick!
I have been a little bit lax with the commenting over the last couple of days. Organising a big charity dinner dance at the weekend so will be out again tonight...sorry!
I do so appreciate your all your lovely comments & do admire your photos even if I haven't time to comment on them all.
Three good things:
1. I have had a really BIG clear out of drawers this morning, so liberating!
2. Feeling more energetic!
3. A big improvement in the skips last night....proper footwear & an empty stomach.
Jack & Lydia were really good at it.
Nice one! A sit upon mower sounds just wonderful. Yup! The green stuff just didn't stop growing this last winter so I have already done two cuts on ours.
I used to do that too - clear up after the man! Now he seems to be doing that so I just stay out of sight! I haven't found that skipping rope yet! Bouncing is good for the bones!
Looking lovely - made me laugh about nipping back inside! Well it's men's work ;0) (KIDDING!!) Glad you're getting yourself back on time - just in time for the clocks to turn!
