Harry has had his Massey Ferguson 35 tractor revamped.
First registered August 1962.
It has all been re sprayed, parts renewed & he has at last used the brand new seat I bought him for his birthday about ten years ago.....
As you can imagine a very happy man!!
It will be at work mowing the field as soon as the weather dries up.
Three good things:
1. A very nice lunch out.
2. Lydia & Jack are coming tonight.
3. St Georges Day. England's National Day.
One of my good work mates has just sold his old MF - it was 1960-something model...he said it ran like a dream. I'm guessing he didn't use it so much since he sold some of his land. nice collage Pat, it looks in stunning nick...and a great colour!
My and I was going to say -- that has never been ouit on a far !! how wrong one who is inexperience in these things -can be !!! Super machine and A1 revamp - I am sure Harry is over the moon with the result and will cosset it well -- I hope he will spare you some of his time !! lol !! Great shots Pat !

Should have said that this tractor has worked really hard in its life & for more than thirty years has been used as a scraping out tractor on our dairy farm. That means it went up & down the passages in the cubicle house ( that's the big building where all the cows slept & ate) scraping all the muck down slats into an underground holding tank.
It was always well looked after but never looked as good as this before!
John has always wanted a "Fergie"! He looks at all the old wrecks in fields around and eyes them sadly! No longer on a big property that is all he will be able to do! The seat looks very comfy. Good to know there are no steep slopes on your place - too many tractor accidents here! Say hello to George for me!
Greetings from Petersburg, Alex.
Chuckle!!!
