Kirsty did really well & got through to the final today. The two men missed out so there was a bed spare for her last night.
Kirsty owns www.gortonsgoldenretrievers.co.uk & has done really well in her chosen career with her beloved dogs.
She was nervous at breakfast time so took her bacon & some bread in tin foil to eat later.
I was rather disconcerted to find the chosen reading matter for one of my B&B guests was Culinary Recipes of Medievel England! I hope he was happy with his breakfast!
Three good things:
1. The Apprentice starts tonight & tomorrow.
2. @padlock is organising another London meet up on the 15th November....they are so enjoyable so do get the details & turn up if you can. I have booked my train ticket already.
3. Chins.....for folding sheets!
Nice image of the dogs looking alert. I really miss having a dog ... though my retriever had an especially stubborn streak! I like yr three good things too & No. 3 made me smile! :)
Nice to see them all rearing to go! That dog van must have rather a high odour! I know these dogs do have a smell! Kirsty looks very young to have all this success. I can't do without my chin or alternatively, my husband when folding sheets!
@maggiemae I never smelt a thing Maggimae & they all slept in here beautufully. They were lovely visitors but was glad to see them move on. She has lots of these dogs , trains them & sells them on....quite a good business I think by the sounds of it.
What interesting and varied guests you have in the B&B. I did laugh at your third good thing - memories of folding sheets with mum - not using chins, but pulling vigorously on the diagonal to get those edges to match when folded!
@jewelsandbinoculars yes there were & I deleted number two by mistake....watched half of it on iPlayer but it gave up after that so don't know who was kicked out.
