View from hotel window.

I have just returned from my wild weekend away!
Every year at this time we have a sort of Irish weekend for about 300 people. Several Irish bands & various singers come over the weekend & it's always very late to bed.
Mostly us women go on our own ....the husbands used to come but we have discarded them & it's so good to have time with women friends.
We stay in a lovely hotel in Clayton Le Moor.....great food, hot showers & lots of laughter....
I only got to bed at 5.15 am this morning as I drove our main singer Daniel O'Donnell to Manchester airport after the 'Do'
I only took a few photos as I was too busy having fun to use the camera!

Sorry I will get back to normal tomorrow......just about managed to post this shot tonight!

Three good things:
1. Alex is at Heathrow airport safely waiting for her flight home to NZ at 11pm tonight.
2. A fantastic weekend with some wonderful friends.
3. Nice to be home sitting by a roaring woodburner....I am cold because I am tired!

@jesperani Yes the well known one.....I have known him a long time & he is not a limo type chap! We got lost at the airport trying to find the hotel & got back onto the motorway by mistake. ....a friend went with us for company back.

@pinkpaintpot @gijsje We have been holding our weekend there for the last ten years & they know exactly what we want.......apparently it's the biggest occasion they have in their calendar over the year. Two nights & all rooms filled. We have had John McNicoll, Michael English, Sean Loughry, Patrick Feenon, Jimmy Buckle & Shaun Cuddy & Daniel for the last ten years too. Always sold out, we have a great time!
