Lake Windermere was looking good on Friday. The town was quiet, not many tourists round as there is in the summer.
The swans, geese & sea birds were all happy in the sun. The swans at the edge of the lake are so tame & always on the look out for food.
Going out for our tea to Cathys house. She is going to do my feet for me which I'm thankful of!
Will be back home to watch Poldark....I am going to forsake Indian Summers which I have found heavy going.
Must say a big thank you to you all for so many comments & faves on my last few days photos....I really appreciate every one.
Three good things:
1. Sun appearing after the rain.
2. Great tennis.
3. Enthusiasm.
A lovely photo full of atmosphere -- the dark threatening sky and the sun shining on the water and birds ! Opposite to us -we has a little sunshine this morning but soon it turned grey and we've had rain for the rest of the day !
I also found Indian Summers very heavy going and have already given up on it !! May also give Poldark a whirl - I did enjoy the original series And shall record Crufts for a later date !
Nice clear and focused shot. The low wintery sun provides just enough light to illuminate the pier as well as the birds. Looks cold still. I'll have to find out what Poldark is - sounds Cornish.

Love your three good things. What tennis were you watching?
