Before we visited The World Trade Centre we had an iconic boat trip to The Statue of Liberty.
We picked a good day as the weather was cold but clear.
As you can see it's a common enough shot but just amazing to actually be there & that I took the photo!!
Of all the things we did perhaps this was the most exciting...invigorating & we had a great chap telling us all the history & detail in a fun way. We sailed up the coast & he told us which celebrities lived where, all the interesting details such as where the Titanic should have docked & so forth.
Another highlight!
Three good things:
1. Photos to remind us of memorable days.
2. Clever & skilled builders & architects to design & construct such wonderful structures.
3. Information.
Wonderful view! We did the boat tour that went up and around but didn't stop at the statue. It was gross out the day we were there so we thought we'd leave visit the island until another trip.

@jennywren thanks Jen you are right about the crisp air & it didn't bother us that it was cold but would have liked to,see Central Park with green ....one day perhaps!
