Our weekly visit to the cinema this afternoon. We went a bit earlier & had our lunch on the promenade at Clevelys. It was quite busy & a glorious day.
Dot & I regressed into our childhood & went to see Cinderella.
I must say it was delightful & I would thoroughly recommend it to any romantic loving person.
Three good things:
1. Harry went to the vet for some cat wormer & called into buy a rechargeable carpet cleaner.
2. I made some biscuits for the B&Bers.
3. Our NZ daughter in laws birthday today.
Fun and effective composition and making the most of the spring sunshine (you must have ours as it's been cool and cloudy here!). The orange really contrasts beautifully with the blue sea and sky.
@fueast harry has been having a lovely day mowing his grass .....mustn't get behind before he goes into hospital........chatting to the roof repair men & a neighbour. A perfectly social mans day!
Looks like a great spot .. and looks like an Anzac biscuit you got there.. I have been thinking of going to Cinderalla so must put it on the to do list..
Very healthy lunch - no ham sandwiches! How delightful going to see Cinderella - the fantasy of childhood! Nice blur on the beach - still looks a bit cold somehow!
@julzmaioro Yes I know you add. I know but us English people aren't too keen on coconut...you hardly ever see it in cakes here .....yuk in fact! Wouldn't mind the nuts though!
Great image - we went to see 'Shaun the Sheep' the other day - without kids! I love the composition of this image. And I love the way you say 'seaside' - here in NZ, we go to 'the beach'.
@thistle hi Joyce just getting your parcel off to the post & I have changed my phone & for some reason have lost all my texts. Would you mind re texting me your address on 07779177754. Should have written it in my address book but was a bit rushed before we went to NK. Thanks Joyce.
What a very healthy lunch - I'm impressed. Love your photo too, it's a fav! Is Cinderella suitable for children? We have Imogen coming to stay for a week - she's 6, although she may have seen it already.
It must be warm if its warm in Blackpool!
