I had good intentions of walking to the end of the lane & taking a photo of all the dandelions out in the end field but another filler I am afraid.
So cold here, such a change from last weeks sunny warm weather!
Continuing with the snooker theme I took this photo on our visit to Sheffield...obviously they are completely snooker obsessed!
I liked the silvery theme to the square here in the centre of Sheffield.
Three good things:
1. A haircut....I can actually see out now!
2. I have been able to shut the hens in early.....too cold for them out & it saves me going out later in the evening!
3. Brian & Lesley are on their way!
A lovely shot -- love the silver spheres and the captured reflections -- so cold here too Pat, with ground frost at night -- but the sun is so deceiving until you get out to the cold wind !
Fabulous reflection balls/fountains. A wonderful, artistic display. So happy for you that your family is on their way!! I see a good time in your future!!
I'm sure the hens were grateful. Sheffield has steel too doesn't it - so steel balls is apt for a sculpture! Your two will fly in to Manchester will they? How excited you will be!
@maggiemae of course maggiemae I had forgotten completely the connection with steel......clever you! Yes we are really looking forward to seeing them. Brian hasnt been home for four years! I pick them up tomorrow at lunchtime from Manchester airport.
That's a lovely photo. Silver is just the right colour for Sheffield. ...I've only passed through it once a very long time ago when I was on a geography field trip. How exciting to have Brian and Lesley arriving soon. Just the best feeling!
