Mummy duck turned up today with thirteen new babies.
Not quite as many as the seventeen she had last year but still a lot to take care of!
She unfortunately won't rear all of them as we know from last year but fingers crossed she will be left with some.
There was no commenting last night as our son was looking at my iPad all night checking out Landrovers! Hope to do better tonight!
Three good things:
1. Our youngest sons birthday today.
2. Harry has been to the hospital physio & also had his clips out at the surgery.....doing really well!
3. He can throw away the crutches!
Beautiful shot --I hope you will keep us informed of their development and adventures with your photos !
Wonderful news re Harry's progressive recovery -- so pleased for you both !
No crutches already! That's amazing. Nigel was just telling me about somebody's new hip being all wrong - it's a worry so glad Harry's knee is good. Friends of ours are driving a camper an around the world at the moment - you can get to Asia overland - just add a couple of ferries for NZ - project for you & Harry - drive Landrover to NZ. Probably be run in by the time you get there!!
@judithg I think a drive to NZ might be a touch too far Judith....now my brother would do it like a shot! Family over at the moment are out most meals up to now....Cathys tonight........the birthday boy isn't here til the end of a May!
Tell Brian about the new Discovery Sport. We are going to a launch of that in a week or two! Landrover. You have put out some food for the duck family - very cute ducklings but so vulnerable. Its hard to think to their future!
OH my goodness....great family portrait! Mom looks very attentive. Soooo cute and fuzzy! Looks like one is a little bit independent, venturing out on his own. Love it!
Such good news about Harry's remarkable recovery!
And happy birthday to your son!
