Harry went to his first physio class this morning at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, the first of six.
I knew he would be in for a while so packed my Kindle to read while I waited.
The decision was whether to go with The Disclaimer on the Kindle or go for a walk in Stanley Park.
Well I must say all the years I have lived within twenty miles of the place not to mention working in the hospital I have never before stepped foot in the park.
I was so impressed, the little wooded paths, the beautiful lake & the wild life including nesting Herons ....it was a revelation!
All this pretty much in the centre of Blackpool!
Three good things:
1. Undiscovered places.
2. A proper walking stick from the hospital with rubber end.
3. Looking forward to watching the election results!
Well I never - Nigel was looking in the free property magazine thing that comes round and discovered that there is a huge lake behind a row of posh houses almost in the middle of the city - can't believe we had no idea it was there. Can't believe you left The Disclaimer though...
Thats what happens when you want photos - you go where no man has gone before - make that, you! Same with me though I want to stop all the time when driving and its difficult to yell stop all the time!
This is gorgeous. I bet you'll be going there again! I don't think I can stay up any longer for the results, I'm on babysitting duty tomorrow so I'll be up early.
Sounds like the walk won. I love my kindle but a walk in the park with sights like this would win for me too.Lovely photo Pat. I hope Harry Iis doing well and you are happy with the election result
I've had a difficult time putting my Kindle down recently, but you seemed to have made the right decision, Pat. This park is lovely and your shot is delightful. The reflections and colors are wonderful. The little duck appears to be trying to stay out of the way of your shot not wanting to be a photo bomber.
Hope Harry's first physiotherapy session went well!
Highly recommend it.
