A fabulous day today being taken out by Cathy & Garth for my birthday tomorrow. We picked today because it's going to be wet tomorrow.
We drove to Whalley via Stonyhurst, a beautiful run through stunning countryside. A coffee, scone & a bowl of chips then a wander down the Main Street where Harry bought a sweater.
A walk round Whalley Abbey where a wedding was in progress.
This was a fascinating place full of old stuff....Cathy bought a mirror to paint for her bedroom & I bought an old earthenware pot.
At the back there seemed to be all the men of the village sitting in chairs....a real mans club!
I hope this isn't too near the bone for you!! I did do a slight blurring for modesty so sake!
Three good things:
1. A day to remember.
2. The Aspinall Arms a fantastic eating place on the banks of the River Hodder.
3. No B&B in tonight!
Looks like a store that would attract men particularly with that lady exposing herself like this! My word, someone will arrest her before too long! Happy Birthday for tomorrow - you are going to be older than I am!
Great find. Funny to put up the sign naked, when this is more than obvious. I thin I'd find something to bring home in a place like this.
