A collage of all the bicycles taking to the promenade on Tuesday's Ride the Lights night.
I tried to pick out all the fun backgrounds I could find.
I am not too much of a fan of collages & do prefer each photo on its own really but a collage is a way of showing you every picture in one fell swoop!
Three good things:
1. I am so pleased with myself as this morning I had the same Domain scam selling site that took me in last year when I parted with £100....I was on the ball this morning even though they called themselves initially by another name. These people are so very convincing! Trouble is we always think everyone is as honest as ones self!
2. No B&B in until Sunday evening......for now anyway! A lie in tomorrow if I wish!
3. On a night prowl in the night I caught a slug in the sitting room. We have flagged floors in there & I have seen the tell tale signs of slug activity over the last couple of days. I actually stood on it at about 4am this morning....I opened the back door & threw it out! Well how do you kill a slug?
I love collages and this one fascinates me because, for all the energy and light and fn in the foreground, those skies are downright threatening.
We have a lot of slugs and snails usually, they devour my seedlings if I don't kill them when I first have a garden, but the rest of the year, I actually just take pictures of them or ignore them. They are drawn to beer. If you put a bit of beer in a pie tin they crawl in and drown
@pandorasecho Oh well I must get a saucer of beer out Dixie....drunk slugs!! I must say I'm not too keen on them in the house! It was quite a nice evening but lots of clouds...think I overdid the editing to bring out the colour & each bicycle!
You certainly picked good fun backgrounds and I think collages are useful sometimes although I think the work one has to put into them is disproportionate to their reception!!!
Collect all the slugs, Pat and put them in the food processor to make SS's - slug smoothies! Lol! Yuk! The bikes look a bit close for my comfort but these are lovely colourful photos!
@maggiemae Well I did think of putting the slug slime on my face as its supposed to be a great form of face cream then I thought perhaps it was snails! Your idea is absolutely revolting maggiemae but a funny thought! I think I prefer @judithg answer!
Super shots. Lovely the sky in the bottom one. Slugs - yuk! You could always sprinkle salt on him or just put him in your green bin if you want to be kind!
I'm another one who doesn't like collages but just sometimes they work and this one does. Great pictures. Slugs ? Sprinkle them with salt they shrivel up and expire!! I just don't like doing it! We don't really seem to have them I have only seen one this year. Snails? we have snail city in our garden but they are easier to deal with.
Lovely collage! great colours which really show off all the detail.
Salt is the way to go with slugs ...... I have a book somewhere called "50 ways to kill a slug". Must see if I can find it! lol :)
WOW What a lot of colour!
Good to kill slugs whatever way!!! The head gardener at NTS Pitmedden Garden told us they have a zero tolerance policy towards slugs and snails!!!
