Westmorland County Show ground today was absolutely full of visitors enjoying all the wonderful farming & country pursuits.
It took us an hour to queue into the snowfield & that was the back way in which not as many people know about........well they didn't used to!
Wonderful weather & we saw quite a few people we knew but no 365ers saw my red shoes & said hello! I did announce on FB what I was wearing but no luck!
Three good things:
1. The wonderful farming community.
2. So many proud participants.
3. A ride back to the car park on a tractor & trailer, by then I was tired! It's surprising how tiring walking slowly is!
@motherjane Honestly Jane you should go....I must admit it was very crowded today & rather too hot for me plus I was tired before I set off......I think it's nicer in a bit colder weather myself but so much to see!
We need to see a picture of those red boots! I presume you mean showfield and not snowfield - the latter is found on our side of the world at the moment! This is huge and obviously very well attended! The only time I can walk slowly is when my feet hurt, or my hips - or my knees - or my head!
@maggiemae It is tiring walking round all the trade stands slowly...I am more of a brisk walker. I wouldn't like to guess how many there today....could have been 40,000 easily!
