Duncan & Sarah my cycling B&B's last night.
They were cycling on through Liverpool to Flint in Wales today. I didn't envy them as they set off this morning in rather misty weather but they were very happy & obviously enjoying their cycle round Britain.
They arrived quite late last night so as it was going dark I ran them into Great Eccleston to get something to eat.
I asked them if I could take a photo which of course they agreed & seemed very interested when I told them about 365 project. Duncan had just bought a new four thirds camera so was keen to look at mine & compare notes...his was a Lecia.
Three good things:
1. Good team work in the B&B house this morning...all washing out, camp beds put away, beds made up & hoovered before noon.
2. Enjoying an afternoon of sport on the TV, F1 for Harry & Davis Cup for me then the NZ rugby match later. You might think we love sport but it's only the watching of it!
3. Lydia is checking into Manchester Met this afternoon to start her uni degree. Exciting stuff......see extras photo!
Great shot of a keen couple. I am following a young couple that are cycling from England to NZ. They have just cycled across the Nalaboor plane in Aus . Perth to Adelaid. Plan on being home for xmas. Amazing.
@beryl we meet all sorts Beryl. This lady did B&B round Cambridge somewhere I asked her if she knew @judithg but didn't seem to recognise the name or her married name......big like asking someone from London if they knew so & so really!
Probably choose an area to cycle and just do that each year! How delightful! Now, can I get John on to a bicycle! They don't have much luggage so would have to do a bit of washing often. You have lots of energy to get all that done in one morning! Now will have to look at this four thirds camera that you talk about!
They are obviously enjoying the prospect of their long ride in spite of the weather. So much sport on this weekend I'm spoilt for choice. Not sure what a four thirds camera is. Another job for Google!
