No fishing

A big bed changing day so a photo from our recent Yorkshire meet up.

I liked the little bridge which spanned the little stream at the end of our walk.

A lovely scene. What type of stone is the bridge made out of? I don't quite understand the whiteness which seems to be just covering stone in places?

@kwiksilver No it is very white Gillian...I think it's concrete but can't remember properly. Badly poured concrete at that!

Nice to see that Yorkshire stone in the house across this bridge! You can't fall over one side but there is a possibility of falling of on the other side of it - its quite narrow! Obviously there are fish in that clear stream. There must be a fish caretaker!

@maggiemae this bridge opened out onto the main road in the village, I didn't think the stream was deep enough to fish in actually! The sign looks quite old!

i love the bridge pat, you could get quite a few pics from it...macro rust, mono textures, wide angle front end. your walkers posing on it etc. Worth a revisit I think :)
