Following behind

A trip to the cinema to see A Walk in the Woods.
A film version of the Bill Bryson book of the same name.
Dot & I really enjoyed it....Robert Redford, Nick Nolte & Emme Thompson starred .....beautiful scenery & funny too, just what we needed!

Three good things:
1. The entry forms for the Wimbedon ballot have arrived,
2. Laughing with a friend,
3. The house painters have started painting the outside of the house.
@dide and I have intended to go and see that movie but things been a bit hectic. A must do now.nice shot. #1is a must.

Magical and that little dog looks rather like Jinks. He lags behind sometimes now that he's nearly 13!

@quietpurplehaze I thought of Jinks & Alfie when I saw this little dog Hazel! @beryl

Must be an old dog not to be prancing in front all the time. That film is on my list to see as I have enjoyed Bryson's sense of humour in his books!

lovely shot. We went to see that movie. Wasn't anything really like real trail life. My son walked the entire AT back in 2005 in 4 months and 2 weeks. His pack only weighed 20 lbs on full food days. He also the Long Trail twice in VT.

@sailingmusic funny Mryna I though they had far too much stuff! Quite unfeasable two old men like that but it was fun!

this has a wonderful almost fine art feel to it Pat, I might have bee tempted to slice a little bit of the sky off (well you know how I love letterboxes ...although it is letterbox already) . minimalistic and fabulous, faved

@maggiemae It was good but my word Robert Redford looked his age....such a lot of hair with that rather lined face looked weird!

@phil_howcroft I had to crop this a fair bit as it was tKen with my 50mm at rather too much distance. We couldn't walk onto the prom at Clevelys as the gates were closed near the cinema. Very high tides forecast this week so most entrances closed. I nearly cropped it so there was no sky but it looked odd!
