The River Brock as it passes under Lydiate Lane near our daughters house, a lovely walk along the river bank. This is the river that caused all the damage by flooding downstream at St Michaels-on-Wyre recently.
No silky water here I'm afraid!
We are out tonight for a tapas meal so will be unable to comment tonight I'm afraid so just ignore this one!
Three good things:
1. No B&B's in tonight!
2. Our son in law has looked at our leaking kitchen tap & is going to get the part to fix it.
3. A present of a box of M&S Belgium chocolate biscuits.
The light on the water is rather nice here and the natural flow of the water is good - rather than silky which I can't do. Good that your B&B's appreciate you in your hostess role!
Yes I can see the football. I guess the owner thought it was a bit too chilly to retrieve it.
Belgian chocolate biscuits sound lovely. David loves Belgian chocolate.
Love the speckled sunlight in places. Good to see the water level back to nearer normal.
Some of our rivers up this way are still a bit higher than normal for the time of year!
