I have just realised I completely missed my five year anniversary on 365.
I started my sixth year on this great site last Friday 5th February.
Ah well I think I might keep going a bit longer!
Nothing new today but I liked this photo of Blackpool promenade taken fairly recently.
Thank you for all your lovely comments on yesterday's photo despite my absence.
Three good things:
1. Watching a very tight rugby match between Ireland & Wales, all square at the moment at almost full time. A draw would be fair. Yes just finished...a draw!
2. Sorting clothes for summer weather.
3. Extra topping on our pizza for tonight!
Congratulations Pat , As Rick @digitalrn says time quickly goes by wen you are having fun !! And of course you will carry on to delight us all, -- it is a way of life by now and the withdrawal symptoms would be too hard to bear !! This is a lovely panoramic view of the prom -- a really wet and wintery scene !

Thank you Rick, Bep & Beryl, I have enjoyed your company over the last few years & couldn't leave now.....I woukd miss everyone so much so it's onwards & upwards! X
Love your photo - open and blue .......lovely!
This 365 thing is such a lovely thing to do - even if I miss some days I can't imagine life without it now!! Keep going ...me too!
When do you head off? Next week?
@sarah19 Thanks Sallie & I always credit you with getting me onto 365, your beech tree photos were the start! We set off on the 15 th early. I have quite a few 365ers to meet up with. Fancy that on the other side of the world!!
@happypat That's so lovely! And yes the beech tree story and the next step to 365 certainly added so much to my life!! Enjoy the count down for your trip! x
@happypat definitely, depends on timing as to when you are here. I am heading to the south island for a couple of weeks in March. Will chat with Andrea.
A wet and wintry scene Pat. Congrats on your 5 years on 365 - such a friendly place to hang out!! How exciting counting down to your NZ trip - lucky you!! I visited NZ a few years ago - before 365 - and fell in love with it especially the South Island. Looking forward to seeing your photos. Lovely too to be meeting up with other 365ers!
@pamknowler Thanks Pam. Yes just beginning to get excited now & looking forward to seeing family again. The sun on our backs will be very welcome too! Meeting up with other 365ers is a bonus!
You must be one of the longest surviving members of 365! Perhaps there should be medals given out! I have watched so many fall by the wayside but at the moment there seems to be a fresh lot of enthusiastic photographers posting constantly! I like the wetness of this shot and the curving lights! Its not long now!
@maggiemae Yes only us old timers left but lots of new names to follow. Must admit there are some I am very fond of following as I feel I know them so well! Looks forward to meeting a few in NZ!
wheyyyy heyyyyyyyyyyy pat ultra slim letterbox and a hint of 'lowry oeople' . works for me . faved. congratulations on five years . looking forward to year 6 and beyond :)
Congrats on your staying power, Pat, and hope you will carry on. I haven't been to Blackpool for many years, but I'm sure it has changed beyond recognition now.
Congratulations Pat. Year six is a real milestone. You must have some wonderful memories to look back on. I love this shot but can't help thinking if storm Imogen was blowing there like it is here they would all be in the sea!
Well done and there is me thinking my 3 years at the end of this month for me was good. Don't think I would like a stroll along the prom with today's weather.
Thank you Rick, Bep & Beryl, I have enjoyed your company over the last few years & couldn't leave now.....I woukd miss everyone so much so it's onwards & upwards! X
