I did a silly thing this morning & fell down the stairs!
A combination of jet lag, the wrong glasses, out of practice going down stairs after seven weeks on one level & excitement to get to the door to sign for my new camera!
Needless to say I have not used it yet!
Luckily I have lots of fillers!
I am okay but it's swollen badly & sore so I can't drive!
Three good things:
1. I haven't broken any bones, well I don't think I have as I can walk on it even though it's sore to do so.
2. No B&B in until Sunday night.
3. Painkillers!
Oh Poor you, what a rotten end to your nice relaxing break. Hope you feel better soon. Nice bit of graffiti and the motor bike gives it an additional gritty feel.
Aaaaw !! Pat ! So sorry to hear of your misfortune ( or should I missed steps !!) I hope you haven't done too much damage or broken anything , even sprains can be so painful -- keep off it as much as poss ! giving it time to heal ! and giving you time to study your new camera !! ( My words of wisdom over and done with !!)
A lovely bright shot with all that vivid coloured graffiti -- or should I call it street art !! The bike goes well and is almost lost in the graffiti !!
Oh dear and I'm glad you're OK but shaken. If you remember I went on about you being down under and all the blood rushing to you head. Well this is what happens when you don't take it easy as the blood returns to the proper parts of your body (Wink) As for the capture, that bike looks a bit big for me.
Love the colours and shapes in the shot. So sorry you fell downstairs and hope all will be well soon. I fell down in the street recently, taking Jinks out for his last ablutions of the day but I blamed him for suddenly changing direction and catching me off balance, good job he's only small. I was lucky not to have any injuries. Enjoy your new camera - I'm curious of course!!! Look after yourself.
Oh poor you Pat!! So glad it's not more serious and hope that you will mend quickly to deal with camera and B and B! Lovely pic both of graffiti and bike.
My number one comment is - check with the doctor! I didn't go to the doctor when I twisted my ankle and because of that have a weak ankle for the rest of my life! I'm intrigued as to what happened to your other camera as we'll as curious to see what you have chosen. Guess i'll have to wait! There's a lot going on in this photo!
Oh no, hope you don't have any broken bones. sometimes sprains can be worse than breaks though can't they. You will have to take it easy a bit longer now. Look forward to more of your holiday photos while you are recovering.
Nice photo too.
Fantastic shot, Pat. Love the colors and composition. I am sooo sorry about the state of your ankle. Hoping that you have a super speedy recovery!!! Sending good vibes your way! And remember RICE...rest, ice, compression, and elevation.
What a shame to hear you have had a fall hope it gets better soon I musy lookk back at your holiday pictures I have got so behind with 365 these days must do better
I've now found the beginning of your sorry tale Poor you. Glad to hear Harry's taking good care of you. Do take care and enjoy the mini break from chores.
